Why Ready Serve

What working with us
actually looks like.

We're not a staffing app that drops your name in a pool and hopes for the best. Ready Serve works directly with every member of our team — and we treat good professionals accordingly.

Premium Event Work

The events we staff are weddings at upscale venues, corporate galas, private estate dinners, and luxury gatherings — not mass-volume catering or last-minute fill-in work. When you're on our roster, the events reflect that.

Straightforward Communication

We tell you what the event is, what's expected of you, what you'll be paid, and when you need to be there — clearly, in advance. No surprises when you show up.

Flexible Scheduling

You set your availability. We offer events that fit. You are not obligated to accept every booking, and we don't penalize you for having a life outside of hospitality work.

Professional Teams

Because every member of our network goes through the same vetting process, the teams you work with are made up of people who take the work as seriously as you do. Good staff make each other's jobs easier.

Competitive Compensation

Event-rate pay discussed directly during the onboarding process. No hidden deductions, no surprise fees. We pay for professional work at a professional rate.

A Network That Grows With You

Staff who consistently perform well become our first call for premium bookings. Your track record within Ready Serve opens doors to the best events and preferred scheduling.

Our Standards

What Ready Serve
expects from our team.

We have one standard — and it applies to everyone, every event, every time. These are not suggestions. They are the baseline of what it means to be a Ready Serve professional.

We communicate these standards clearly before your first event, and we stand behind them. Staff who consistently meet them are our best advocates. Those who don't remain in the network.

Arrive on time — always Events start when they start. We expect staff to arrive during the designated window, ready to work. Chronic lateness ends placements.

Professional appearance Arrive in specified attire, clean and pressed. No visible tattoos that conflict with event dress code unless pre-approved.

Professional conduct throughout On site, you represent Ready Serve and the client's event. Phone use during service, socializing with guests, and off-task behavior are not acceptable.

Communicate proactively If something changes — you're running late, you're ill, something came up — contact us immediately. Don't let us find out at the event.

Take direction professionally Event captains, venue staff, and clients may give instructions on site. Receive them graciously and execute without argument.

Discretion at all times Private events are private. What happens at a client's home or event stays there. We take this seriously.

Requirements

What we look for
in every applicant.

These are the baseline requirements to join the Ready Serve talent network. They apply regardless of role.

Hospitality Experience

At least one year of professional hospitality experience in the specific role you're applying for. We place people who already know the work — not those learning on a client's event.

Reliable Transportation

Events are held at venues throughout South Florida. You need reliable transportation to arrive on time regardless of location.

Professional Presentation

You will be visible to guests at upscale events. A clean, professional appearance is a minimum expectation — not an optional extra.

Availability Consistency

You don't need to be available every weekend, but your stated availability needs to be accurate. Accepting bookings and not showing up is not compatible with being part of this network.

Eligible to Work in the US

All members of the Ready Serve network must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Certifications (Role-Dependent)

Bartenders are expected to hold or be willing to obtain responsible beverage service certification. Food handler certification is preferred for servers and runners. Details discussed during onboarding.

Staff FAQ

Questions from
applicants we hear often.

Yes. We require at least one year of professional experience in the specific role you're applying for. This is not an entry-level staffing agency — our clients are hosting premium events and expect staff who already know how to do the job. If you're newer to hospitality, we'd encourage you to build more experience and apply again in the future.
It depends on your role. Bartenders are expected to hold responsible beverage service certification (such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol), or be willing to obtain it before their first bartending placement. A food handler certification is preferred for servers and food runners. We will discuss certification requirements during the onboarding process for your specific role.
Once you are in our network, we will reach out directly when an event matches your experience, availability, and location. You are not obligated to accept every booking. We ask that you respond promptly when contacted and only confirm if you are fully committed to the event. Confirmed bookings are expected to be honored — last-minute cancellations affect the entire team and the client's event.
Attire is confirmed for every event before the date. Standard defaults are: bartenders and servers in all-black or white-shirt/black-slacks depending on the event; food runners and setup crew in all-black; event captains in formal black attire. If the client has a custom dress code requirement, we will communicate it clearly well in advance. When in doubt, ask us — do not guess.
Pay rates are event-based and discussed during your onboarding conversation. We aim to be transparent about compensation from the start. Payment schedule and method details are confirmed during onboarding. We do not post specific rates publicly because they vary based on role, event type, and duration.
Yes. Many members of our network work Ready Serve events alongside their regular employment. We work around your availability — just be accurate about when you are and aren't available, and only confirm events you can genuinely commit to.
